Alyssa Borg

Program Coordinator
Alyssa Borg is a Program Coordinator/Contracts Administrator at Hinz Consulting. She supports clients as a program coordinator and account administrator. Ms. Borg is a task driven, organized individual. She focuses on process improvement and client success while bringing energy and fun to the team. Alyssa is an active member of PEO, Philanthropic Education Organization, which supports women across the country in achieving a higher education through grants, scholarships, and other programs for working women and mothers.

Angela Marsh

SVP, Org. Development and Culture
As the SVP of Org. Development and Culture, Angela Marsh is responsible for a myriad of activities that span multiple departments. She is primarily responsible for planning company social activities and cultivating our exceptional Hinz culture, particularly over remote locations. With over 25 years of cross-functional experience, including but not limited to: Accounting, Human Resources, Event Planning, Project Management, and Business Development; Angela’s diverse background allows her to support any area of the company.

Bill Von Hagel

AI Research Manager
Bill Von Hagel is an AI Research Manager with Hinz Consulting. Bill has over 23 years of defense contracting experience, providing software engineering, capture, proposal development, and leadership for multiple Intelligence Community customers. He possesses both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science and a Doctor of Management degree in organizational leadership.

Carrie Taylor

Talent Engagement Staffing Specialist
As a Talent Engagement Staffing Specialist, Carrie’s multi-faceted experience in the proposal process, affords her the knowledge and expertise needed to properly match qualified associates to open requirements from our clients. Working directly with Account Leads and having a strong and trustworthy relationship with our associates, Carrie efficiently cuts down on the amount of time it takes for appropriate placement. She is responsible for interviewing, vetting, assessing skills, experience, and aptitudes, to ensure there is proper alignment with the Hinz company culture.

Erik Heil

Strategy Manager
Erik is a Sr. Proposal Consultant at Hinz Consulting, supporting clients in roles that include Proposal Manager, Volume Lead, and Technical Writer. He has worked on bids valued at more than $4B, including four $Billion proposals and more than ten efforts exceeding $100M. He supported TSA IMPACT ($B+), the Counter Narco-Terrorism Program Office (CNTPO) Command, Control, Communications, Information, Detection & Monitoring (C3IDM) Bid ($B+), and INSCOM GI ($B+).

Chris Placzek

Senior Vice President
Chris is a Senior Vice President, Pricing Services at Hinz Consulting with nearly 20 years of experience providing strategic pricing, price-to-win, business case development, and competitive/market intelligence in the public and commercial sectors. He has extensive experience providing strategic pricing at every stage of the sales cycle – from opportunity qualification through pricing setting, optimization, and post-mortem analysis.

Jessica Madison

Accounting Specialist
Jessica is one of the Accounting Specialists at Hinz Consulting. She has 12 plus years of experience in providing administrative support, along with medical billing & coding. Jessica possesses strong quantitative problem-solving, customer service, and prioritization skills. She is responsible for performing accounting and clerical duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and bookkeeping.

Dominique Lea

Accounting Specialist
Dominique is an Accounting Specialist at Hinz Consulting. She’s primarily responsible for Accounts Receivables but is expanding her knowledge in accounting and takes on additional tasks. Collectively she has worked over 18 years in administrative, purchasing, project controls and Business Development within Government Contracting. Dominique is data driven, organized and detail oriented. She enjoys opportunities where she collaborates with her team members to develop and strengthen processes.

Josh Thiel

Senior VP
Josh has 23 years of experience as a COO/CTO, VP of Federal Sales, Entrepreneur, Commander of Army Special Operations Training, and Commander of all U.S. and NATO Special Forces in Afghanistan. Since 2010, Josh has developed solutions and leveraged technology for results-oriented performance. Josh is responsible for the buildout of Hinz’s AI Center of Excellence, with a specific focus on AI and Technology Consulting business and partnerships.

Katie Clatterbuck

Proposal Consultant
Katie Clatterbuck brings 15 years in delivery and client service to Hinz Proposals in her role as Proposal Consultant. A writer and coordinator, she is highly organized and excels in roles when interviewing SMEs and writing/managing proposal sections or where she directly supports capture and proposal leaders in day-to-day operations.She has over 15 years in business development, in her last role as Sales Manager.

Lee Coogle

Senior Vice President
Lee is the Senior Vice President, Training and Education at Hinz Consulting with more than thirty years of experience in proposal development and program and contract management. He served in the U.S. Air Force and then moved to the civilian side with stints at CSC and 3Com before becoming an independent proposal consultant in 1991. An outstanding writer and editor, Lee supports all aspects of proposal development. He excels at working with a team to craft a fully compliant proposal that highlights the strengths of a client’s solution.

Le'Ondra Brock

Inside Sales Specialist
Le'Ondra is the Inside Sales Specialist at Hinz Consulting. She prioritizes client outreach by re-engaging with clients to identify solutions for their staffing and growth needs. Originally starting in the Talent Engagement department, she has developed a passion for relationship building, process improvement, and data management. She uses this experience to nurture both client and consultant relationships as well as collaborate with team members across other departments. She enjoys reading, yoga, and being a foodie.

Marilyn Arroyo

Business Analyst Consultant
Marilyn Arroyo is a Business Analyst at Hinz Consulting. As a consultant, Marilyn currently works alongside Telecommunications clients in offering data analysis and performance improvement initiatives. For the past 8 years, Marilyn has successfully managed and aided projects in transient and full lifecycles for industries ranging from aviation, surface transportation, telecommunications, aerospace, and defense.

Pauline Malazarte

Account Lead
Pauline is an Account Lead at Hinz Consulting. She manages client relationships and represents the high-quality services and capabilities of Hinz to generate growth opportunities. She has over 6 years’ experience providing large-scale staffing solutions in the federal contracting industry, ensuring the delivery of quality, alignment, and responsiveness to client requirements. She loves traveling, her two dachshunds, and being outdoors.  Pauline earned her degree at VCU, go rams! 

Tom Hudgins

Senior Pricing Consultant
Thomas Hudgins is a Senior Pricing Consultant at Hinz Consulting with over 30 years of experience in government contracting and 20 years of that experience is in pricing.  He has supported proposals up to $10B in value, across all government agencies and has experience in all contract types and contract vehicles (IDIQs, BPAs, BAAs and creation of GSA schedules).  He also brings 15 years of experience with Price-To-Win/pricing strategy.  He has experience in writing and implementing pricing policy, procedures and best practices.

Yurii Cohen

Senior Proposal Consultant
After completing his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Cornell University and teaching for several years, Yurii returned to the world of business development to share his critical reasoning and writing skills with federal contractors throughout the region. Over the past 10 years, Yurii has supported several dozen business development efforts ranging in size from $5 million to $3 billion as a Proposal Writer, Volume Lead, Proposal Manager, and Capture Manager.

Matthew Gilbert

Talent Engagement Administrator
Matthew Gilbert is a Program Coordinator and Talent Engagement Administrator whose acquired team leadership, planning, and organizational skills were built during his successful decade-long career as a dog groomer. His understanding and mastering of people skills is helpful in assisting consultants and tending to their needs and requests when onboarding them for future projects. Having a passion for technology, he hopes to be able to grow his skills further while he works at Hinz Consulting.

Ron Sones

Senior Proposal Consultant
Ron is a member of the Hinz Consulting technical staff; he supports clients as an author, volume manager or proposal manager as required. Ron has over thirty years’ experience in proposal management, strategy development, and technical writing in the U.S. Government and private sectors. He has helped win and manage billions in work for clients over his career. He has worked successful proposals for DoD, Army, Air Force, Navy, DISA, and IC members for various clients.

Tyler Harper

Tyler Harper is a Senior Software Engineer and Professional Consultant at Hinz Consulting. He brings over 14 years of experience in full-stack development, project management, and UI/UX design. Tyler is dedicated to providing clients with the best tools for success and is passionate about exploring new ways to approach projects.

Neal Peters

Director Of Marketing
Neal Peters is the Director of Marketing at Hinz Consulting. He has a BBA in Marketing and joins Hinz with experience in digital marketing, including as an SEO Manager. At Hinz, he will help manage and implement the company brand and drive our strategy for increased name recognition in the industry. Neal will also develop and implement marketing plans associated with our service and product offerings and manage our social media platforms and web advertising.

IT Systems Administrator
Sharon is the IT Systems Administrator at Hinz Consulting and oversees the delivery, maintenance, and support of company technology and systems. She works with business process owners to ensure that they have the tools they need to support their functional areas. Sharon enjoys the challenge of learning new skills and finding creative ways to help make her colleagues' work easier. Sharon has over 25 years experience as an IT professional, with expertise in planning, development, delivery, training, and support of highly complex technical solutions.

Rabia Bashar

Pricing Analyst
Rabia is a pricing analyst with a B.S. degree in Economics. As a pricing analyst, Rabia is adept at navigating the processes of post award pricing and data analyses for government contracts. Her role specializes in collecting and analyzing data to ensure the delivery of competitive and accurate pricing for federal clients as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the development of pricing proposals.

Since 1990, he has helped win over $20B in proposals. He has supported 15 proposals worth more than one billion dollars each, as well as multiple projects worth over $100M.

Chief Growth Officer
Mark is the Chief Growth Officer at Hinz Consulting who has provided over twenty years of results-oriented leadership in Business Development and Program Management for clients and employers in support of both Government and commercial programs. He has served as a Capture Manager, Proposal Manager, Volume Lead, and Technical Writer on Commercial and Federal bids totaling over $20B and can support you in any of these capacities. He has supported more than 25 projects worth $100M+.

Michaela Rohrbach

Chief Operating Officer
Michaela is the Chief Operating Officer at Hinz Consulting. As a key member of the Primary Vendor Group, Michaela is responsible for the identification, coordination, and assignment of a diverse pool of consultants to meet a variety of client needs. She fosters the success of a large and diverse group of proposal teams by providing outstanding leadership and subject matter expertise in the development of all aspects of the delivered product.

Tania is the Chief Financial Officer at Hinz Consulting, an executive leader with more than twenty years of experience in finance and accounting; along with an extensive background in Six Sigma leadership. Tania is responsible for strategy implementation and management of all financial business: financial planning and analysis, accounts receivables, accounts payables, compensation, treasury, and compliance. Throughout her career in the financial industry, Tania has a proven track record of leading teams through high-impact initiatives that result in more efficient business operations and generate revenue.

Co-Chairman of the Board
Bill Hinz is the Co-Chairman of the Board at Hinz Consulting and is a highly-qualified Proposal Manager, Technical/ Management Volume Lead, and Proposal Writer. He has worked on six separate proposals exceeding one billion dollars in value, in addition to eleven other projects worth more than $100M. Since 2008, he has helped clients win over $4B in new work. He was the Technical Volume Lead on the Intel RAMP2 bid ($1.5B) and supported TSA ITIP ($1B), DOE Pantex Y12 ($13B), DOE SPR ($1.2B), State HCSSI ($2B) and Canada’s TAPV Program ($1B).

Dan is the Co-Chairman of the Board at Hinz Consulting, a senior business developer with more than twenty years of experience helping companies grow. He manages client relationships for the company and collaborates to help develop long-term, strategic solutions that generate growth opportunities. Previously, he was the Vice President of Business Development for KSI, and he helped them to grow their Fortune 500 customer base, including opening and managing key accounts with Boeing, CACI, CGI, General Dynamics, HP, L-3, TASC, and Lockheed Martin.
