Overview:
Client initially kept the SOW for support to Proposal Management. As the bid progressed, the scope grew to overall proposal development support including technical writing. The period of performance included the December holiday season and the proposal team staff had planned leave and other work commitments limiting availability, productivity and review cycles. Managing progress and Task Statement ceiling under these circumstances was challenging.
Working closely with the client, we ensured we kept total hours below the original Task Statement LOE ceiling. This was achieved by our two staff members maintaining frequent communication with customer and rescheduling milestones. This relieved pressure on staff during holidays while ensuring progress was achieved. Our work to facilitate the holidays included providing technical writing support across all sections of the bid to help move proposal content forward while staff were unavailable.
Proposal was submitted on time and team expressed that it very well represented their qualifications. The client gave Hinz feedback that they were highly satisfied and thankful for the support.
